The battle between Exodus and Magna that began in 2065 ended after many years, resulting in the dismantling of Exodus. World War III started shortly after 2140 due to the food crisis caused by overpopulation and climate change. Twenty years of intensifying war destroyed many countries, nearly ruining all of Earth thanks to a massive population decrease and leaving only a few hundred million. Eventually, some survivors gathered together and created a megalopolis called “Neo-Eden.” Within this society, a new military company was created—its name was… “Aphesis.”

Aphesis’s mission statement was to create a new future by combining humans and machines. They would implant machines inside human bodies and turn them into “Roids.” Although this practice was initially met with controversy, Roids eventually exceeded the population of humans and became necessary to society. By 2200, the younger generations started facing increasing inequality, many of them becoming involved in crime and a new drug called Hydra that destroyed many people’s lives…

Combat is styled after classic turn-based RPGs, but with a twist: each successful hit builds up your chain meter, allowing you to deal more and more damage. Master this and several other exciting mechanics to crush your opponents.
